Why use timestamping?
With the timestamping service, you can easily and effectively prove the exact moment your work existed in its specific form.
The timestamping service does not constitute a formality or prerequisite for acquiring copyright or related rights over a work, since rights are acquired informally (both under national law and international conventions) without requiring submission or registration. For a work to be protected, it must be an original intellectual creation of literature, art, or science, expressed in any form (Art. 2, Law 2121/1993).
The timestamp certificate is a document used to safeguard the creator by proving the moment of creation of a work that may be protected by copyright.
